5 places in Barcelona for meditation

At Definixion Barcelona we are committed to taking care of our outer self to help us take care of our inner self take care of ourselves on the inside. It is when we become aware of our body's needs that we begin to value it, pamper it and nourish it when we begin to value it, pamper it and give it the nourishment it needs both physically and emotionally. If we manage to understand that point is when we begin to give the personal growth.

An important part of personal growth is to dedicate some time every day to meditation. Through meditation we are able to connect with our inner self and come into harmony with it. In order to practice quality meditation, the first thing to do is to find a quiet place, where no one else is around, where no one will interrupt us and where we can listen to our breathing.

We would like to recommend you 5 outdoor places in Barcelona where you can have your

moments of meditation:

1. On the beach

It is a place that, despite being very crowded, if we go there in the early hours of the day, when the sun rises, it is a spacious open-air space, with the sunrise, it is a spacious open-air space. Let yourself be impregnated with the smell of the smell of salt, the contact with the sand and the sound of the waves will rock you in your meditative process.

2. On Montjuïc

Barcelona's 117-metre-high mountain, Montjuïc, has different viewpoints that allow you to admire the sea or the admire the sea or the immense city. We recommend, for example, the Mirador del Migdia or the historic the historic Botanical Garden. The characteristic vegetation of this place allows us to find places where the ambient temperature is very pleasant at any time of the year. The large number of trees makes you feel like you are in a forest in the middle of the city.

3. Horta Labyrinth

This is the oldest surviving garden in the city. It is located on the former estate of the

Desvalls family, on the slopes of the Collserola mountain range. The enclosure includes a

18th-century neoclassical garden and a 19th-century Romantic garden.

This space has numerous works of art -mainly sculptures-, as well as various ponds, waterfalls, fountains and a canal running through the upper enclosure. In your moment of inner connection, all this space of art and history will envelop you and help you to listen to you and reconnect with yourself.

4. Bunkers of Carmel

The Bunkers del Carmel is a viewpoint from which you can see the whole city of Barcelona (360º views of the city). It is located at the top of the Turó de la Rovira in the Carmel district with a height of 262 metres. Despite the rugged terrain, it offers a perspective of the grandeur of the city and the infinity of the sea. Here you will feel that the city is at your feet and if you manage to find a time when there are not too many people you can hear

yourself breathing in the rhythm of the air flowing on this side of the big city. If you prefer a place where you can breathe in living nature such as the sea or the vegetation, perhaps this is not the place for you.

5. The Cervantes Rose Garden

In the neighbourhood of Pedralbes, this park specialising in roses has a well-kept appearance, the result of intense work and a layout with almost no obstacles. The presence of more than 10,000 rosebushes of two thousand varieties transports the visitor to Barcelona's Eden itself. The different fragrances will help you to impregnate your breath and escape from the pollution of the city during your meditation process.

To guide you in your process we recommend two Youtube channels that offer you guided meditations that you can listen to in order to meditate correctly and productively: Mindful Science y Easy Zen
